AMD Goes to 3GHz: The Athlon 64 X2 6000+

AMD’s latest Athlon 64 X2 6000+ runs at 3.0GHz. This processor created to compete Intel’s Core 2 processors. This processor is cheaper than Intel’s fastest E6700, it might be AMD’s fastest yet at 3GHz, but it consumes more power. The 6000+ uses 125 watts of power. This processor cost around $464 each (Php21, 000+) compared with Intel’s Core 2 Duo E6700 at US $530 (Php25, 000+).
