Speed up your PC
1. Free up disk space
Means you need to delete files that are temporary and that are not useful for your system. Some of these files are stored in the Recycle Bin. Because deleting files frome your system that is transferred to the Recycle Bin does not really delete it from your system, so you still have to delete from the Recycle Bin itself. To do the cleaning easily, use the Disk Cleanup tool that is located in the System Tools under the Accessories on the list of all Programs.
2. Speed up access to data
In this step you use the Disk Defragmenter, this tool will arrange all the system files and other files in your system which is based on what type of file it is.
3. Detect and repair disk errors
Fixing the system errors and scanning for the bad sectors in the system and undergoing it to recovery.
4. Protect your computer against spyware
Spyware collects personal information without letting you know and without asking for permission. For me, you must install anti spyware applications which you could get from the internet.
5. Learn all about ReadyBoost
As what I read in the Microsoft.com, in speeding up your system you may use external storage in storing your files in order for your system not to add more memory in handling your files.
I got this information about improving the speed of your system at Microsoft.com. I only stated the things that I understand about these steps.
